1.       What is Project ReachOut?

Project ReachOut is an initiative created for the sole purpose of aiding people to reach out and offer a helping hand to those in need. We will visit the Spastic Societies, orphanages, old age homes, rehab centres and other similar organizations, join as volunteers, work at the organization for certain duration, accumulate information and publish the same. We hope that this comprehensive information will inspire people to reach out to these establishments.

2.       How is Project ReachOut different from other organizations in Mysore?

a.       Project ReachOut doesn’t offer a mere database, but it offers the first hand views of the volunteers who spend considerable amount of time in each such organization.

b.      It doesn’t indulge in paid services. All services and information gathering are undertaken on voluntary basis.

c.       Each information posted on the blog or other social media, is written by those volunteers who have experienced what it is like to be at the concerned organization for a considerable amount of time.

d.      At Project ReachOut, we have horizontal hierarchy, wherein every member/Reacher share a common footing.

e.      We also accept donations which will be distributed to various organizations which is in dire need of help.

3.       How can you help us?

You can help us by joining us and being a part of the Reachers Community. Volunteers can register with us at your convenience by contacting the Trustees (contact details on “CONTACT US”) or, you can like us on Facebook and respond to our posts on the blog www.projectreachoutmys.wordpress.com. Also, you can send us your experiences at various such organizations in Mysore, to our email projectreachoutmys@gmail.com.

The members/Reachers can work with us whenever they find time and in accordance to their preference of work, or, they can just follow us and help spread the word, and thereby build this organization, because there are some things that cannot be afforded to let go unnoticed.

5.       How to follow our blog?

Interested people can go to www.projectreachoutmys.wordpress.com  and click on the Follow option on the page to complete the registration process and start receiving updates about Project ReachOut.
